WHAT IS WAXING?

A gyantázás ELŐNYEI
WHO IS IT FOR?
THE WAXING STEP BY STEP
1. Preparation
- Skin cleansing: before starting the treatment, the skin should be thoroughly cleansed to remove dirt, oils and make-up residues. This is usually done with an alcohol-free cleanser so as not to irritate the skin.
- Preparing the skin: dry the skin and, if necessary, sprinkle it with talcum powder to make the resin adhere better to the hairs rather than the skin.
2. Resin selection and heating
-
Warm wax: Warm the wax to the appropriate temperature (usually between 37-40°C) to ensure it is easy to apply.
-
Cold wax: Prepare the cold wax strips by gently warming them, usually by rubbing them between your hands to enhance adhesion.
3. Applying the resin
Warm wax: Apply a thin layer of wax to the skin in the direction of hair growth using a spatula or brush.
Cold wax: Place the wax strips on the skin in the direction of hair growth and press firmly to ensure good adhesion.
4. Removing the resin
- Warm wax: Once the wax has solidified, remove it quickly and firmly in the opposite direction of hair growth.
- Cold wax: Pull the wax strip off quickly and firmly in the opposite direction of hair growth.
5. Aftercare

OUR GUESTS' REVIEWS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is waxing painful?
Waxing can cause some discomfort as the hairs are removed along with the root. However, the sensation passes quickly and many guests find the pain tolerable. With regular waxing, the hairs will be thinner and thinner, which will reduce the pain.
How long do the results last?
After waxing, the skin usually stays smooth for 3-6 weeks, as the hairs are removed with their roots. The duration of results may vary from person to person depending on the hair growth cycle.
How often should you have it waxed?
Waxing is usually recommended every 4-6 weeks to keep the skin smooth. The timing depends on the hair growth cycle and individual preferences.
How do I prepare for waxing?
Cleanse the skin before waxing, avoiding moisturisers and oils. Leave hairs at least 1/4 inch (about 0.6 cm) long for effective removal. Avoid sun exposure and saunas for 24 hours before treatment.
What should I do after waxing?
After waxing, apply a soothing and moisturising cream to the skin. Avoid sunbathing, saunas and intense exercise for 24 hours after treatment. Avoid using perfumed products and wear loose clothing to avoid irritation.
In which areas can waxing be used?
Waxing can be used on almost any part of the body, including the face, arms, legs, underarms, bikini line and intimate areas. In our salon we offer special waxing services for all areas.
Is waxing safe for sensitive skin?
Yes, waxing is safe for sensitive skin if done properly. Our professionals are experienced in treating sensitive skin and use special products to minimise irritation and discomfort.
Can I have a wax during my period?
Yes, it is possible to have a wax during menstruation, but the skin may be more sensitive during this period, which can increase the pain. We recommend that you take this into account when choosing a treatment date.
What are the advantages of waxing over shaving?
Waxing provides a longer-lasting smoothness as the hairs are removed at the roots. In addition, the hairs that grow back will be finer and thinner. Waxing also removes dead skin cells, leaving the skin softer and smoother.
