Waxing for All Skin Types - Painless and Long Lasting Hair Removal

Tired of shaving every day? Choose the long-lasting and effective solution: waxing! With our waxing services offered in our BEAUTÉ Budapest salons, you can say goodbye to unwanted hairs while your skin stays smooth and silky.

WHAT IS WAXING?

Waxing is a method of hair removal that uses hot or cold resin to remove hairs from the roots. The idea of waxing is to remove the hair at the root, resulting in velvety smooth skin that lasts for weeks. The hairs are thinned and thinning. There is no itching sensation as the hair grows.

In our salon, we work with two types of resin, as there are more sensitive and less sensitive areas on our body. For more sensitive and intimate areas, we use a liquid resin with titanium dioxide and shea butter, specifically developed for hypersensitive skin. For less sensitive areas, we use a cartridge resin, which is similarly gentle on the skin but also removes thicker, denser hairs.

A gyantázás ELŐNYEI

  • Long-lasting results: hairs are removed at the root for a long-lasting smoothness of up to 3-6 weeks.
  • Finer regrowth: regrowing hairs could be finer and softer
  • Skin exfoliation: waxing removes dead skin cells, resulting in smoother, softer skin.
  • Less frequent hair removal: longer results mean less frequent hair removal than shaving.

WHO IS IT FOR?

  1. For those who want to achieve long-lasting smoothness.
  2. For those who avoid daily shaving.
  3. For those who want to reduce the thickness and density of their hairs.

THE WAXING STEP BY STEP

1. Preparation

  • Skin cleansing: before starting the treatment, the skin should be thoroughly cleansed to remove dirt, oils and make-up residues. This is usually done with an alcohol-free cleanser so as not to irritate the skin.
  • Preparing the skin: dry the skin and, if necessary, sprinkle it with talcum powder to make the resin adhere better to the hairs rather than the skin.

2. Resin selection and heating

  • Warm wax: Warm the wax to the appropriate temperature (usually between 37-40°C) to ensure it is easy to apply.

  • Cold wax: Prepare the cold wax strips by gently warming them, usually by rubbing them between your hands to enhance adhesion.

3. Applying the resin

Warm wax: Apply a thin layer of wax to the skin in the direction of hair growth using a spatula or brush.

Cold wax: Place the wax strips on the skin in the direction of hair growth and press firmly to ensure good adhesion.

4. Removing the resin

  • Warm wax: Once the wax has solidified, remove it quickly and firmly in the opposite direction of hair growth.
  • Cold wax: Pull the wax strip off quickly and firmly in the opposite direction of hair growth.

5. Aftercare

Removal of Wax Residue: Use a special oil or cleanser to remove any remaining wax from the skin.

Soothing and Hydrating: Apply a soothing and moisturizing cream to reduce skin irritation and aid in skin regeneration. Creams containing aloe vera, chamomile, or other soothing ingredients are ideal for this purpose.

    • Treating harder-to-reach areas can be complicated.
    • There is a risk of skin irritation and injury.
    • Achieving even hair reduction is more challenging.
